Why CorpStage

You train inside the same governance software you will operate in a real role, anchored to the standards that regulators, investors and assurers use. You finish able to design and operate the controls and evidence that stand up to scrutiny, and you hold a credential that proves it.

Programme Overview

What you will be able to do after completing CCSA-001

Climate scenario analysis is where sustainability meets capital allocation, and few practitioners can do it credibly. This credential prepares you to frame scenarios, translate climate risk into financial terms, and present results a board and its assurers can interrogate. You practise on the same climate and finance tooling used in real disclosure work, so the skill is operational, not conceptual.

  • Construct orderly, disorderly, and hot-house climate scenarios and calibrate them to a specific organisation
  • Assess acute and chronic physical hazards through exposure and vulnerability analysis, and translate physical impact into financial terms
  • Model transition risk from policy, technology, and market pathways, including carbon pricing effects on portfolios and balance sheets
  • Ground the analysis in the frameworks supervisors and standard-setters use — the NGFS scenarios, IPCC pathways, TCFD, and IFRS S2
  • Align results with IFRS S2 disclosure requirements and prepare them for assurance
  • Present defensible scenario analysis to boards, auditors, and regulators, and embed it in the strategic planning cycle
  • Lead a climate scenario analysis exercise end to end, from governance and data through to board reporting and disclosure
Programme Modules

Five modules. From regulatory foundations to board-ready disclosure.

Module 01

Regulatory and Scientific Foundations

Why scenario analysis is now mandatory, the climate science that underpins it, and the landscape of the NGFS scenarios, IPCC pathways, TCFD, and IFRS S2.

Module 02

Scenario Construction and Selection

The practical work of choosing and building orderly, disorderly, and hot-house pathways, and calibrating them to a specific organisation.

Module 03

Physical Risk Analysis

Acute and chronic hazards, exposure and vulnerability assessment, and the translation of physical impact into financial terms.

Module 04

Transition Risk and Financial Impact

Policy, technology, and market pathways, carbon pricing, and the modelling of transition effects on portfolios and balance sheets.

Module 05

Governance, Disclosure and Board Reporting

Turning analysis into a defensible deliverable: results presentation, IFRS S2 disclosure alignment, assurance readiness, and embedding scenario analysis into the strategic planning cycle.

Who Should Enrol

Built for professionals who need governance credentials that hold up

Risk and Finance Professionals

Those responsible for resilience planning or climate-related financial disclosure learn to translate physical and transition risk into financial impact that boards, auditors, and regulators will accept.

Sustainability and Strategy Leads

Professionals who must test corporate strategy against a range of climate futures learn to build, run, and defend a scenario analysis grounded in the frameworks supervisors actually use.

Consultants and Advisers

The credential supports both technical depth and client credibility in climate scenario analysis, IFRS S2 disclosure, and assurance readiness.
